The Discover Orange Bowl Football Game
January 4th

Miami International Art Fair

Now in its 3rd year of bringing fine art to Miami, this year's MIA will be held on a 228-foot megayacht, SeaFair, docked in downtown Miami. The show will feature 28 international dealers and more than 19,000 collectors.
35th Annual Art Deco Weekend
January 13th - 15th
For more than 35 years, Miamians have celebrated their unique community and style during Art Deco Weekend. This year is no exception and will feature a parade, guided walking tours, street entertainment, lectures and more.
January 25th - 27th
Celebrating 50 years of the American Fence Association, this year's opening ceremony features fighter pilot "Waldo" Waldman emphasizing the importance of teamwork. The show will feature new innovations from more than 300 exhibitors.
January 29th
Recently named one of the top 8 "Waterfront Race Destinations" by Fitbie magazine, the ING Miami Marathon crosses the MacArthur Causeway and Biscayne Bay, takes a tour of Ocean Drive, all while enjoying perfect Miami weather.
February
February 2nd - 7th
More than 2,000 medical professionals from around the world will gather in Miami to educate pain physicians on the latest techniques in pain management. Seminars, hands-on courses and educational activities will be part of the weekend's events.
February 16th - 20th
A boat show so big, it requires three locations. Water taxis will take you from the Convention Center to two different marinas to see the latest in powerboats, sailboats, services and gifts. Entertainment and seminars are also included.

One of South Florida's top cultural events, Coconut Grove is among the country's premier outdoor art events. In addition to more than 380 international artists exhibiting, the festival features events for kids, live music and culinary competitions.

From its humble beginnings as a one-day festival, the South Beach Wine and Food Festival has morphed into a four-day destination extravaganza featuring culinary personalities, wine producers and chefs from around the world.
December
December 1st - December 4th
The international art world descends on Miami Beach for the most important art show in the country. Art Basel is the sister event of Art Basel Switzerland, and features top galleries, concerts, films and more.
December 2 - February 30
Enjoy an evening in tropical Miami at the Schnebly Winery. Featuring live music, wine tastings and the beautiful surroundings of the Winery, Friday nights are a great time to bring a picnic and dance the night away.
December 3rd
For more than 100 years, the story of The Nutcracker has delighted children of all ages. Enjoy the music, costumes, dancing and fantasy of Tchaikovsky's classic tale, complete with the magic that you remember.

While most of the country is bundled up getting ready for the holidays, Miami is showing outdoor movies. On the big screen Wednesdays in December will be True Grit, Chicago, Some Like it Hot and Gremlins.
